Peripheral blood cells collected by apheresis are treated with ammonium chloride to remove red blood cells (RBCs) and washed to remove platelets. Viability is 90%. Our peripheral blood MNC products (PBMCs) are composed of, on average, 50% T cells, 20% monocytes, 10% B cells, 7% NK cells, and 3% granulocytes. Actual cell type percentages vary from collection to collection.
